Will My Teen like the Cruise Kid’s Clubs?
Speaking from experience I would say yes! My daughter loved going t the kids clubs. Matter of fact as of this writing, Spring 2026 she will be on one of her last cruises where she will still be able to join the kids club. After that she will age out and have to mingle like the rest of us.
She was able to take part in all kinds of fun activities, made all kinds of arts and crafts, made friends from all over the country that she still keeps in touch with and literally just had days and nights of non-stop fun. This is why we cruise. It gave her some time to spend on her own, socially grow and gave my wife and I our own time to go and enjoy ourselves.

What Memories Kids Clubs Create
You don’t want to just pick a cruise that has a kids club that is run on the mill or boring. You want to make sure your child is making memories too when they are not with you. For example our daughter was younger she did not want to visit the Club C when on Carnival. She was too shy and too nervous but we continued to bring her and hang around. After day 2 we were told to stop embarrassing her. To this day she talks about the nights spent in the clubs doing arts and crafts, making keepsakes for friends and family back home while she was away, learning sing a longs etc.
So you are not just picking a club to dump them off and be bored at you want to give them a safe place to hang out where they WANT to be. In turn this means it will free up time for you to give you pool time, date night or just a dinner with conversation. Another example that comes to mind is a family that booked their first family cruise on Disney. They had both a boy and a girl in the Oceaneer club and they were really hoping that they would enjoy the clubs and have some downtime.
They got more than they could have asked for with the Disney staff. Everytime we see them they tell us all about making slime, or the scavenger hunts, dance parties and a Super Hero academy.
